I wanted to get this done as soon as I could since I'm leaving for San Antonio for the next following days (yay spring break). So...long story short, Odete's player had to leave and so I volunteered to take the cirque's matriarchal figure under my wing. (excuse the puns)

Powers: Hypnotic singing voice, flight, sharp claws and talons.
Job: Singer/Cirque Matriarch
Story: Odette is one of the many Striga from old Roman times – women who could turned into hideous birds and preyed upon both children and men by luring them with their beautiful voices. She has a daughter named Maleana out of an illegitimate relationship with a man named John Smith, who…later she had killed. She was once part of a circus held by a lunatic named Screw-Eyes (see the Sins arc videos by angelofmusic1992 for more info) before leaving and meeting Facilier. Time passed and the relationship between the two blossomed into romance, leading Facilier to propose to her. Esmeralda and Odette get along fairly well, and she even views Belle as a surrogate daughter, although she's closer to Maleana than both girls.
Personality: Odette has a strong maternal instinct that she seldom shows except around those she is close to. Although she laments over the many children she has murdered when hunger calls, as she loves children and shows her motherly side to them, she has accepted that it is in her nature and thus comes across as jaded by macabre topics such as death.
