Forza Horizon 6 has me excited, but also a little worried. The fh6 game play looks absolutely incredible with stunning environments and visuals, making it a promising open world racing experience. However, I do have some concerns about the road design, which seems very wide and not particularly challenging for a racing game. What are your thoughts on this new gaming title?
Forza Horizon 6 has me simultaneously worried and also very excited for the game. From all the gameplay we've seen so far, the game looks absolutely incredible and all the environments are just stunning. But I definitely do have some concerns. Of course the big one is the roads look incredibly wide and not really windy or like difficult to drive on at all. They're so freaking wide open that you can drive two cars in a singular lane, which of course for me isn't a deal breaker. Of course I have to make it appeal to more people, but it's definitely kind of a bummer. I'm not gonna lie, watching the entire intro scene, it just felt like more Forza Horizon. Very similar to games like Forza Horizon 5, which honestly I didn't really vibe with that much, especially with the progression. I'm definitely hoping they do a better job with that than previous Horizon games, but honestly this just feels like a continuation of FH5 and I was kind of hoping they were going to reset and go with a little bit of a different direction, but honestly, you know, if it ain't broke, don't fix it for them. At the end of the day, I'm still incredibly excited for the game. The graphics look great, the map looks absolutely amazing, it does look a little bit smaller than I was anticipating, but overall, like, everything about it still looks really good and I'm definitely going to enjoy it probably more than Forza Horizon 5. Also, being able to design your own garage and that entire area back there where you can basically build whatever you want is going to be really, really cool to see. The car roster I'm sure is going to be great and the customization should be better than FH5. Not to mention the event lab is going to be really cool and seeing all the different creations people make is going to be really, really fun to play. So overall, yes, I'm still incredibly excited for this game, but it's a little bit lower than I was expecting it to be. It just feels like more Forza Horizon 5 with a couple little things here and there, but doesn't feel like a truly Next Gen experience when looking at it. That might just be a me thing though.
