Ranking every modern Resident Evil game from worst to best. At number six we have the Resident Evil 3 remake. The gameplay is pretty solid in this game, but the biggest issue with it is it cuts so much content from the Original Resident Evil 3. The entire clock Tower area isn't even here and all the different boss fights with Nemesis just feel really scripted and don't really feel authentic. At number 5 we have resident evil 8 village. I like the mixing of resident evil 7 and more action oriented re4 type stuff in the game, but overall it just didn't feel that scary to me. But I still did like the first person perspective and the overall lore and the story and the atmosphere is really damn good. At number four we have Resident Evil 7. I really like the person perspective in this game and the slow methodical discovery of the entire house. Each member of the Baker family had their own distinct genre of horror and overall it was incredibly atmospheric and scary and I still love playing this game. At number three we have Resident Evil 9 Requiem. It might just be Recency Bias, but I absolutely love this game. Mixing the slow survival horror elements with Grace with the more action oriented ones with Leon. It's like a mix of RE2 and RE5 and I just absolutely love it. And number two we have the Resident Evil 4 remake. As far as remakes go, this one is pretty damn solid. It does have a little bit of cut content from the original RE4, but overall the main like structure and bones of the game are still here and the graphics are amazing. But Coming in number one is my favorite Resident Evil game of all time and that's the Resident Evil 2 remake. Everything about this game is just absolutely perfect. I love the third person over the shoulder camera perspective, the dark atmosphere, the puzzles, just everything about it is absolutely amazing. How would you guys rank the modern RE games?
