In May 2025 in Ocala, Florida, police say Christina Gates Thagard robbed a TD Bank at gunpoint, passed a note threatening to shoot, and fled with over $5,000. Officers stopped her within 11 minutes near the College of Central Florida; she was charged with armed robbery and booked in the Marion County Jail without bond.
