What form of art combines fire, pressure, creativity, and getting to hit something as hard as you can? Modern blacksmithing combines state-of-the art equipment with the age-old forge and hammer. Much like pottery, this art form is a mix of functional art and sculpture. Nathan at Coal Iron Works started off studying cosmetology, but soon learned how to transfer those same skills to blacksmithing. Now, he is not only an artist and blacksmith, he is also an entrepreneur.
