Chefs are some of the most creative people I know, and Italy has some of the best in the world! I traveled to Faenza, Italy to meet ceramic artist and professional pasta maker, Luisa Peduli. Luisa has been making tortellini for one of the most famous restaurants in Faenza for years. The ingredients she uses is simply fascinating, and the skill she has developed is truly extraordinary.

If you are looking for an opportunity to get off the tour bus and experience some authentic, Italian culture, then you need to go meet Luisa!

You can also catch Luisa on an amazing episode of Pasta Grannies! Definitely check the show and her episode out!

---Be sure to check out my animated episode on the fascinating story of where tortellini came from! youtu.be/W4gWZvq8cdw
