Me? Actually finish a video? What sorcery is this? xD With all of the COPPA stuff going on lately, I've been terrified to even have a channel here on YT with the fear of being fined for not marking my videos as "for kids" or "not for kids" the correct way. I also got ANOTHER strike that just went away a few days ago so I don't have it anymore (so relieved) At this point, I'm really considering moving off of YT somewhere else, but that's the problem. No other site CAN really compete with youtube. I did find one possibility, though I'm still not quite sure about it...the cool thing is that it uses one of the old YT layouts:

Basically, channels like mine with videos "made for kids" (even if kids aren't really your main audience) will lose all of our features like comments, subscriber notifications, live/premiere videos and more.
The law is already set and will go into effect on January 1st. I don't know what will happen to my channel then, but I do know I don't want to delete everything. I've tried. I just can't do it. It would be like throwing my entire life away...so I'm just going to make sure to mark all of my videos correctly as "for kids," even if that's not who my channel was meant to be specifically targeted towards. A pet peeve of mine is when animated films are called "kid movies." I prefer just animated film or family film, since they're meant for everyone!
So if comments on my videos are turned off by the time January 1st comes, it's not me. It's COPPA.
