I feel like I relate to those lyrics on a personal level right now...I've just been really down when it comes to editing lately. I've been less than inspired to even try and open up Vegas, and even lesser to actually try and edit something...I don't know what it is. I've been sort of taking a break, but it hasn't really helped. I guess since I edit for a living and it's also my passion, I've gotten to a point where I'm just burnt out and don't even want to think about it (but I sorta have to because it's my job, too...)
But I just saw Smallfoot recently, and while the movie was just okay in my opinion, I actually liked the songs though I didn't think it needed to be a musical (I had no idea about that!) So with a lot of reluctance, I pushed myself to at least try and put a few clips into the timeline. Before I knew it, I'd filled the whole song up! While I am proud of myself for finishing a full-length video, I still don't have the same spark for editing that I used to. I guess I'll just keep taking a break until a small streak of inspiration like this hits again...
