This is my very FIRST spoken word. I wrote it in early November, 2015 when the Syrian refugee controversy was climaxing. There are many times when I feel children are not meant to handle the struggles of this world. As my heart breaks for the trials our youth unjustly endure, I realize they are a perfect reminder of why this world is not our home, and why God loved the children so immensely.
"Let the little children come to me and do not forbid them, for such is the kingdom of heaven." Matthew 19:14
