Skye’s Helicopter Heroes is one of the new PAW Patrol rides at Chessington World of Adventures, taking guests up into the air above World of PAW Patrol for a rescue mission with Skye. Riders board Skye’s iconic helicopter before rising above Adventure Bay, giving views across the new PAW Patrol land and the surrounding Chessington Resort area.
The ride is a balloon tower style attraction, using Skye’s helicopter to create a PAW Patrol ride experience. Skye’s Helicopter Heroes fits perfectly into Adventure Bay, with the helicopter setting, rescue mission storyline and aerial views linking directly to Skye’s role in the PAW Patrol TV series.
World of PAW Patrol is now open at Chessington World of Adventures, bringing the UK’s first PAW Patrol themed land to the resort. Adventure Bay has arrived with four new rides, character meet and greets, themed play areas and PAW Patrol details inspired by the world of Ryder and the rescue pups. Chase’s Mountain Mission, Skye’s Helicopter Heroes, Marshall’s Firetruck Rescue and Zuma’s Hovercraft Adventure make the new land a major addition to Chessington for 2026.
The new PAW Patrol land replaces the former Mexicana area, including the Scorpion Express ride. Scorpion Express began life as Runaway Train when Chessington World of Adventures opened in 1987, before being rethemed in 2014 and later closing in 2022. [4K] Every Roller Coaster at Paultons Park, join us as we experience every major coaster across Paultons Park including Drakon, Raven, Storm Chaser, Velociraptor, Flight of the Pterosaur, Dino Chase, Farmyard Flyer and Cat-O-Pillar Coaster.
From intense Viking thrills and spinning coaster action to suspended dinosaur adventures and family roller coasters, discover the complete coaster collection at one of the UK’s leading family theme parks.
Paultons Park is home to a diverse lineup of roller coasters spread across several themed lands including Valgard: Realm of the Vikings, Lost Kingdom and Tornado Springs with family coasters, spinning coasters, suspended coasters and the Paulton Park’s first inverting thrill coaster.
Leading the lineup is Drakon, the flagship attraction of Valgard: Realm of the Vikings and Paultons Park’s first ever inverting roller coaster. Manufactured by Gerstlauer, this custom Euro-Fighter coaster features a vertical lift hill, beyond vertical drop and two inversions, delivering the park’s most intense coaster experience since opening in 2026 as part of the £12 million Valgard expansion.
Also in Valgard is Raven, the rethemed former Cobra coaster. Originally opening in 2006, Cobra was transformed into Raven with extensive Viking theming and integration into the new land. This Gerstlauer bobsled coaster combines twisting turns, airtime hills and fast-paced family thrills.
In Tornado Springs, Storm Chaser delivers spinning coaster action through the park’s 1950s American Midwest themed land. Manufactured by Mack Rides, the coaster opened in 2021 and features spinning cars, airtime hills and sweeping turns. Nearby, Farmyard Flyer opened in 2022 as a junior family coaster manufactured by Zamperla, giving younger guests their first coaster experience.
Lost Kingdom features several major coasters including Flight of the Pterosaur, a suspended Vekoma family coaster opened in 2016 where riders’ legs hang freely beneath the track as the coaster glides through prehistoric scenery at speeds exceeding 30mph.
Alongside it is Velociraptor, a Vekoma family boomerang coaster also opening in 2016. Velociraptor launches riders forwards and backwards through dinosaur territory with compact but intense thrills.
Dino Chase offers a smaller family coaster experience in Lost Kingdom. Originally opening in 2003 as Flying Frog, the Zierer coaster was rethemed in 2016 as part of the Lost Kingdom expansion.
Inside Critter Creek, Cat-o-Pillar, another Zierer junior coaster which originally opened in 2000 as the Stinger but was rethemed to Cat-O-Pillar in 2015.
Paultons Park has already confirmed its next major addition with Serpent’s Curse, the UK’s first ever water coaster opening in 2027 as part of a major Valgard expansion. Manufactured by MACK Rides, Serpent’s Curse will be built on the former Go Karts site and will further expand the Viking-themed land with water coaster sections, sweeping turns and a major splash finale.
Paultons Park, located in Hampshire’s New Forest, first opened in 1983 and has grown into one of the UK’s most successful family theme parks. The park is internationally recognised for Peppa Pig World while continuing to expand with major themed lands including Lost Kingdom, Tornado Springs, Ghostly Manor and Valgard: Realm of the Vikings.

CBeebies Land first opened on 24th May 2014, replacing Storybook Land and Old MacDonald’s Farmyard. Thomas Land at Drayton Manor Resort is Europe’s only Thomas Land, bringing Thomas the Tank Engine and The Island of Sodor to life inside one of the UK’s best known theme parks. Located in Staffordshire, this themed area is packed with Thomas & Friends rides, attractions, shops and restrauarnts based on the Thomas the Tank Engine books and television series.
Sodor Railway is one of the main Thomas Land attractions, with Thomas, Rosie or Percy taking guests between Knapford Station and the wider Island of Sodor area. Around Thomas Land, rides such as Troublesome Trucks Runaway Coaster, Cranky’s Drop Tower, Harold’s Helicopter Tours, Jeremy Jet’s Flying Academy, Blue Mountain Engines, Toby’s Tram Express and Thomas & Percy’s Submarine Splash create a full Thomas & Friends theme park experience at Drayton Manor. Thomas Land officially opened at Drayton Manor on 15 March 2008, replacing the former Robinsons Land area. T
Drayton Manor Resort is located near Tamworth in Staffordshire and includes Drayton Manor Theme Park, Thomas Land, Drayton Manor Zoo and the Drayton Manor Hotel. Away from Thomas Land, the park includes Adventure Cove, Vikings and Frontier Falls, with major rides such as Gold Rush, The Wave, Maelstrom, Stormforce 10, River Rapids, Accelerator, Thor, Loki, Jormungandr, The Haunting and Sheriff’s Showdown.
Drayton Manor Zoo adds animal attractions to the resort, while the Drayton Manor Hotel offers standard rooms and themed rooms, including Thomas & Friends rooms and Vikings rooms. Star Traders is located beside Star Tours: The Adventures Continue in Discoveryland at Disneyland Park and forms part of the attractions exit area. The store continues the Star Wars theme with futuristic interiors inspired by the technology and spacecraft of the films. Merchandise includes Star Wars apparel and accessories, pins, figures, collectibles, costumes, toys and gifts, alongside opportunities to build a lightsaber or create your own droid.
Star Tours: The Adventures Continue opened at Disneyland Paris on 26th March 2017, replacing the original Star Tours attraction which had operated since 1992. Guests board a Starspeeder 1000 with C-3PO for a 3D motion simulator journey combining different destinations, characters and encounters from across the Star Wars galaxy. Starport is located alongside the attraction, providing opportunities to encounter characters from the Star Wars universe.
Star Wars began with George Lucass original 1977 film, later titled Star Wars: Episode IV - A New Hope, and developed into a series spanning films, television, animation, books, games and theme park attractions. Characters including Luke Skywalker, Princess Leia, Han Solo, Darth Vader, Yoda, R2-D2 and C-3PO have been joined by characters from later stories including Rey, Kylo Ren, The Mandalorian and Grogu.
Star Wars attractions can be found at several Disney resorts. Disneyland California and Disneys Hollywood Studios at Walt Disney World feature Star Wars: Galaxys Edge, large themed lands based around the planet Batuu with Star Wars: Rise of the Resistance and Millennium Falcon: Smugglers Run. Disneyland Paris has two major Star Wars rides in Discoveryland, Star Tours: The Adventures Continue and Star Wars Hyperspace Mountain.
Discoveryland is Disneyland Pariss retro-futuristic interpretation of the traditional Disney Tomorrowland concept, combining science, invention, space travel and exploration. Attractions include Star Wars Hyperspace Mountain, Buzz Lightyear Laser Blast, Orbitron, Autopia and Les Mystères du Nautilus alongside Star Tours.
Disneyland Park opened as Euro Disneyland on 12th April 1992 and includes Main Street, U.S.A., Frontierland, Adventureland, Fantasyland and Discoveryland, centred around Sleeping Beauty Castle, Le Château de la Belle au Bois Dormant.
Disneyland Paris is located in Chessy, around 32 km east of Paris and includes Disneyland Park, Disney Adventure World, Disney Village and Disney Hotels. Disney Adventure World expanded significantly in 2026 with World of Frozen, Adventure Way and Adventure Bay joining Avengers Campus and World of Pixar, while development continues on The Pride Lands, La Terre des Lions, inspired by Disneys The Lion King.

[4K] Beastie Burrows at Paultons Park, join us for a walkthrough of this indoor real life bug emporium and animal encounter in Critter Creek where guests get close to fascinating creatures including insects, reptiles, and amphibians, all housed in a colourfully themed critter habitat designed for the whole family to explore.
Beastie Burrows is part of Critter Creek, Paultons Park’s colourful and quirky land themed around curious creatures and their eccentric world. The area combines bright colours, fun theming, and family-friendly rides such as Cat-O-Pillar and Professor Blast’s Expedition Express.
Inside Beastie Burrows, guests can view an array of exotic species up close, from creepy crawlies to reptiles, in a safe and engaging environment.
Sadly, Beastie Burrows has been permantly closed in 2026 and its replacement has yet to be announced.
Critter Creek replaced the park’s Magic Forest area in 2015, bringing with it a fresh identity and new attractions. It marked a shift toward immersive themed lands at Paultons Park, paving the way for later expansions such as Lost Kingdom and Tornado Springs. The theming blends oversized plants, quirky structures, and friendly critter mascots, making it a hit with families.
Paultons Park, located in Hampshire’s New Forest, is the UK’s number one family theme park and home to over 70 rides and attractions. In May 2025, the park unveiled Ghostly Manor, a groundbreaking interactive dark ride housed in the former 4D Cinema building. In 2026, Paultosn Park opened Valgard: Realm of the Vikings, a major new themed land featuring three new rides, Drakon, a thrilling Gerstlauer Euro-Fighter coaster, Raven, a high-speed family coaster, and the UK’s first Wild Swing known as VildSwing. The area also includes a The Orchard, a Viking-themed playground and a large themed restaurant.
