Flower Pot Acrylic Painting
Dirty pour / From the side of the pot

A couple of years ago I painted up 10 flower pots and handed them out to family and friends to test for me. I told them to put out in the sun, on your front porch, wherever you would normally set a flower pot at your house, then at the end of the season, let me know how it held up.
Good News!! Everyone said that they still looked new and no fading or cracking!!
So I made more and thought I would share some with you!

Painting on a flower pot can sometimes present a challenge to not have your paint run, so I used thicker paints and left the background dry (on this flower pot) to help.

My pouring mixture is 1 part paint/ 1 part PVA/ 1 part pouring medium/ 2-3 parts Floetrol to consistency.

Colors:
Phthalo Blue - Artist Loft
Ice Blue - Deco Art
Turquoise Blue - Amsterdam
White
