Ornamentations (noun): 2. That in which the process of ornamenting is embodied; the ornaments which adorn a thing collectively; ornament in general
Or, in music, the grace notes that embellish a melodic line.

The Spring flosstube kit will be Brenda Gervais' Tulip Festival, as shown in this episode. If you're in the US and don't already have the chart, Country Stitches Online is probably the easiest place to get it: countrystitchesonline.com/catalog.php?category=28

To learn more about high vs. low twist threads, spun vs. filament silks etc and their uses in cross stitch, see the Specialty Thread Tutorial part I: youtube.com/watch?v=F3QVmH2XgPQ&t=188s

My sparkly valentine is a motif from Modern Folk Embroidery's Through the Bitter Frost and Snow pattern (full details in episode 40), stitched with Bijoux Ruby on Legacy Linen 37 count Russian Tea Cake. I have used crystals to accent it, color Scarlet, with 4mm briolettes on the edge and 8/10 mm round pendants to embellish the hanger, which was made with an Au Ver a Soie metallic braid
You can find the crystals I used here: artbeads.com/prestige-color-scarlet
And the silk satin is a color called Wine, available from Mood: moodfabrics.com/premium-wine-silk-duchesse-satin-pv9500-20?refSrc=111011&nosto=nosto_recentlyviewed_products-plp

Modern Folk Embroidery's Home Sweet Home is on Legacy Linen 37 count Russian Tea Cake with Gobelins 575 (which would also be a beautiful combination for the Simple Harmony box)

Band samplers shown are all from Essamplaire and are Margreet Lucun 1681, Martha Edlin 1668 and Jane Turner 1668
Martha Edlin's full needlework education is in the collection of the V&A and can be seen here: collections.vam.ac.uk/search/?q=Edlin%2c%20Martha

The books shown were Sampled Lives by Carol Humphrey, available from the Fitzwilliam: curatingcambridge.co.uk/products/sampled-lives-samplers-from-the-fitzwilliam-museum?_pos=1&_sid=38e93b2f8&_ss=r
And the Goodhart Samplers, now out of print but originally published by Needleprint. It's available on the secondary market but at high prices.

NIAH exclusive Sarah Rinder 1841 available here: needlestack.americommerce.com/chart/HATS-SRinder.aspx

A full overview of the Britomart casket can be found in episode 39, showing all the completed panels
Needlelace patterns as seen on the floor of my current panel, along with an amazing array of different needlelace stitches and a full exploration of stumpwork, are covered in Cabinet of Curiosities Part II: Stumpwork, which is once again running and open for registration: thistle-threads.myshopify.com/products/stumpwork-part-ii-cabinet-of-curiosities

Part I, also available, covered the general history and making of caskets, focusing on the lower relief techniques used. Part II is a deep dive into the wonderful world of 17th century stumpwork, and where I myself learned all the techniques used on the Britomart casket.

Not terribly good photos of the exceptional Fenton House casket, which inspired the lid of my own Britomart casket, as well as the portrayal of Amoret on the back, can be seen here. The fourth image shows the front: nationaltrustcollections.org.uk/object/1448759.1
