Belt sanders are incredibly inaccurate. Whenever I use one, I'm always worried I'll have a hard time getting a clean, square sanding. Today, let's make a fence that we can use as an index point to make sure that we sand at a 90˚ angle from the surface. This fixture will be easy to remove and is not a permanent jig attached to our belt/disk sander.
