This tenoning jig is the ultimate addition to _my_ workshop, giving me precise, flawless cuts every time...and I know it can do the same for you—all with tools you probably already have.
This video is what I call an onion project—a multi-layered build designed to suit all levels of woodworking skill. In the first half, I’ll show you how to create a fully functional tenoning jig that’s simple to make and ready to use right away. In the second half, we’ll peel back the layers and add advanced features to fine-tune the jig for ultimate precision. The other layers aren't critical and can be added any time in the future, so be sure to save this video.
The only large power tool you’ll need for this build is a table saw. If you’ve got a table saw, chances are you already have the smaller tools like a hand drill, to make this DIY project. I've done everything I can to make this as simple and as easy as possible, fully utilizing the table saw so that you don't need to invest in a lot of expensive tools.
