About 3 years ago, I built two benches with some 2x4s and particle board. It was one of the first projects I built on my own. After some friends complained about the poor quality of the benches (after 3 years of considerable use) I decided to see if I could do better with a combination of new knowledge, new skills, and more accurate tools. The benches are much better now than they were!
