Join us out on Falls Road near Lake Roland. It was here that Aquila Scott bought land and started Scott Settlement, one of the oldest Black communities in Baltimore County. These houses are part of the Bare Hills Historic District, which also includes Isaac Tyson’s chromium mining operation and several other copper mines. Thanks for watching and see you soon with another video.

This is our series called "Five Minute Histories." Every week, we’ll record a short video about a different historic place in Baltimore and post it on our Facebook page and YouTube channel.
