Our first time in Rwanda really surprised us!
It is probably our favorite country in Africa thus far!
People usually come to Rwanda to visit the famous Volcanoes National Park to do gorilla trekking, or to go on a safari at the Akagera National Park.
But we were really curious about Kigali, Rwanda's capital city that is also now called the Singapore of Africa. It is the cleanest and safest city in Africa. Did you know that pastic bags are banned, and every last Saturday of the month, the country shutdown so that everyone can clean? That's just amazing.
On this video, we took you around our neighborhood in Kimihurura, and we visited the Kigali Gen---de Memorial to learn more about the horrible event in 1994. Then we went to the famous Biryogo Car Free Food Street to try traditional Rwandan food. We also went grocery shopping at a Rwandan supermarket to see the cost of living in Kigali.
