We left Canada a week ago. We are still waiting for good weather.
In the meantime, we are exploring Savannah, Georgia-- a city that has A LOT to offer, in terms of tourism. One of the 13 Colonies, Georgia has history from as early as the 1600s. We enjoyed learning about James Olgethorpe -- a British politician who founded the colony of Georgia on behalf of King George II.
From there, we went to the Prohibition museum which is definitely a MUST DO IN SAVANNAH! The history itself is incredibly interesting, and the museum presents the information in memorable ways, to make tour very memorable.
Then, we visited a candy shop that has got to be one of the top things to do in Savannah. From candy apples, unique soda pop flavors, every candy under the sun and some VERY GOOD POPCORN! We enjoyed our trip there.
Afterwards we enjoyed some drinks in our to-go cups. (To-go cups seem like a Savannah staple) and said a little prayer for some better weather.
