Our trip in Guangxi province continues!
This time we visited Chengyang Eight Villages.
It is the largest and best preserved living Dong community in China.
It was beautiful, but unfortunately we couldn't show more because of the rain. At night, we were invited for the Dong ethnic hundred family banquet. The idea was each woman from each family from the village would cook and bring dishes special to their family. They would then share these dishes to the guests. It was special to see received such welcome, and experienced the "mountain and flowing river" rice wine tradition.
