What a sight! All eyes were glued on the #Dornier228 as it made its first movements on the runway with the hydrogen-electric powertrain powering the left side propeller!
The medium power taxi testing took place earlier this month at Cotswold Airport. Head of Aircraft Integration & Testing, Gabrielle Teofili said: "The hydrogen-electric powertrain is delivering power, it's doing what we expect, and the only thing that was not according to our expectation were a couple of drops of rain. Otherwise, we are very happy."
