One of the key things that we need to do to get large fixed-wing hydrogen-electric aircraft in operation is to get close to the power density and specific power of turbine engines. Innovation in high-temperature PEM fuel cell technology can help us achieve that. It would be truly game-changing because then we could have the same type of mission profile and aircraft capabilities, but with truly clean technology.
