RTX Neural Texture Compression is an AI compression and decompression technique. It is currently in beta. This is a demo of the new tech which I test in several different scenarios.

This is a performance test for Far Cry 6 in native 4K, ultra settings, with ray tracing turned on. Actual VRAM usage on the 12GB RTX 3080 Ti was usually between 9-9.5 GB, while the game would allocate around 11 GB of VRAM. The game was played in Windows 11.
