Twenty years after the last confirmed record of Northern Bettong (Bettongia tropica) at Mount Zero-Taravale Wildlife Sanctuary (QLD), the endangered species is finally back on Country.

Last week, 49 individuals moved into the newly constructed 950-hectare feral predator-free fenced area, securing a bright future for the species.
