For the first time ever Appalachian State and UNC Charlotte square off in college football. The Mountaineers traveled 2 hours to Jerry Richardson Stadium just outside of Concord, NC on September 8th, 2018. The Mountaineers prevailed 45-9. (Jerry Richardson Stadium does not meet the FAA's Sporting Event TFR criteria, all shots were captured legally and flights did not cross over people or moving vehicles)
