Of course we offer top of the line beds, whirlpool tubs, steam showers, and private balconies overlooking the surrounding mountains. Of course, we offer excellent 3 course breakfasts, afternoon refreshments, but we also offer the bottomless cookie jar!
But if you are looking for interesting conversation, someone catering to your needs, and a person knowledgeable about the area and things to do, then you'll want to get to know the innkeeper, Vikki Woods.

History
Established in 1998.
Created at the edge of the Cherokee National Forest, the Iron Mountain Inn B&B was designed and built by the Innkeeper, Vikki Woods, to be a respite from the "real world" for guests wanting comfortable luxury while they explored the beauties of the Watauga Lake district, the Appalachian Trail and other of Johnson County's charms.
Although running a bed and breakfast was not a lifelong dream of Vikki, she knew she wanted to live in a beautiful mountain area, and since she comes from a long line of women who took in boarders and/or rented their homes, she felt that running a B&B was the perfect life for her. And so it has proved.
After over 13 years (in 2010) Vikki still enjoys providing "Pampering Perfected" service and friendship to those wonderful people who arrive as strangers and leave as friends. This is the job she had been looking for all her life.
