All multi-story FCPS schools have a Fire Evacuation Staging Area or FESA room. This video explains when and how to access these rooms in times of emergencies. FESA rooms are available to student and staff who may not be able to evacuate a second story building durning an emergency. The FESA room is always the first location first responders check when entering an FCPS building. Students are always accompanied by an FCPS staff member in the FESA room.
