Aired on Sept. 22, 2022. Author Maria Gianferrari speaks to Island Creek Elementary School students about her charming fiction and non-fiction picture books. Her most recent book, Being A Dog, A Tail of Mindfulness, encourages kids to live in the present moment, just like dogs. Helpful tips about becoming more mindful are reflected in her book. A short animation about mindfulness rounds out the show.
