IAFC TV Host Autria Godfrey sat down with Chief Amy Ramon of the Cy-Fair Fire Department in Houston, Texas, who was recently been named Fire Chief of the Year by the International Association of Fire Chiefs. She's one of only a handful of women to ever hold a chief position in the fire service, a fact she doesn't lead with.
What she does lead with is the work: over 500 members under her leadership, decades spent earning every step of the way there, and a department she's built to actually take care of the people in it.
