I'm discovering new techniques for metal fabrication in an effort to build my 4x8 Plasma CNC. It requires fairly accurate holes drilled at specific points on 2-inch square tubing. Here I'm evaluating how close I am to center (front of the vise to the back of the vise) so I can make the appropriate adjustments on the vise. I want the vise to be a fixture for repeatability so I can quickly swap pieces out the drill on my left to right mark. This way I do not have to waste time finding the center of the tubing as well as making sure I'm exactly on the mark.
