I had my doubts they would be out and about on a holiday weekend with spring break happening. On my walk in to Devils Canyon, I had my eye out for obvious horse trails such that I followed one south until eventually getting up and over in to Copper Globe flats and there they were. For a while it definitely felt like I was living out that chapter in “desert solitaire” where he’s trying to track down the crazy runaway horse :-)🐴
