Exploring Abandoned Mines and Unusual Places | Finding a Most Unusual Abandoned Mine in the Middle of Nowhere @AbandonedMines11 | Uploaded May 2023 | Updated October 2024, 5 minutes ago.
This was quite a rare find! While hiking through the desert recently, I came across an abandoned mine at the mouth of a ravine. Nothing about the mine seemed special as I made my way towards it. Once I removed the tumbleweeds that had accumulated in the entrance, I noticed an immediate two-way split with a tunnel going off to the left and a tunnel going off to the right. As I sat there in the entrance pondering which branch to take first, I was unaware of a very unusual feature of this mine that was hidden in plain sight. I only discovered this feature after I explored the right-hand tunnel and was making my way back towards the entrance to explore the left-hand tunnel. It definitely is an oddity that isn’t seen often in these abandoned mines. I’m sure you’ll agree!
