Exploring Abandoned Mines and Unusual Places | High-Altitude Adventures at an Abandoned Mine 1.5 Miles in the Sky @AbandonedMines11 | Uploaded August 2022 | Updated October 2024, 9 minutes ago.
A new record! At an elevation of 8100 feet, this abandoned mine is the highest one I have ever explored! Nick and Traci from the Miner49er YouTube channel joined me, and we began the trek up the steep mountain to a mine located on the summit. Along the way, I spotted some ore cart tracks coming out of a portal right next to the road, and this portal wasn't marked on any of our maps! Of course, we stopped and checked out this lower, damp tunnel. Afterward, we continued up to the mountain's summit where we found bent, twisted ore cart tracks winding around the top of the mountain. The tracks led us to a partially hidden portal behind some trees. There was also a large, collapsed ore bin at the site.
**If your viewing device can handle it, be sure to watch this video in stunning 4K resolution! Make those colors and clarity pop!

He's got quite a nice collection of abandoned mine exploration videos over there, and he uploads EVERY Saturday. Be sure to subscribe to him and help support a fellow mine explorer. I'd appreciate it, and I know he would, too. Thanks!
