Today I am building the Axial SCX10 Pro kit, a competition style chassis with steel tubed axles and flat aluminium frame rails. Add to that a few known features such as helically cut ring and pinion gears, a high clearance pinion, high clearance rear lower links, hardware in low wear spots and much more, and you have yourself an easy to assemble, hardcore terrain tackler. The transmission allows for a 40% shiftable underdrive when using a micro servo. The motor is mounted with a very extremely low COG in mind, and the front allows you to either mount a servo on axle, or as I opted for, a chassis mounted servo. Opposed to some of its competitors you will find that the SCX10Pro also has a space for a servo winch.
