HPI Racing drops the long-anticipated Stage D10 - a purpose engineered,10th scale drift chassis with plenty of tunability, a good price point and some great body options to choose from. This specific version is brushed, comes with the James Deane RTR Ford Mustang body. It is officially licensed, very scale accurate and the chassis offers an enormous amount of set up options. The included DBOX 3 gyroscope makes drifting easier, since this is a rear-wheel-drive setup. One of the biggest innovations is the adjustable Ackermann steering setup: an inverted bell crank means that the location of this pivot can be altered in both height and its forward/backward location.
The body and wheel package requires a bit of setting up to get it all to sit right, the body mounting system is very sophisticated but does pay off: magnetic body mounts on steel balls keep the body in place well, and ensure a stealthy look: no body posts or clips! The wheel adapters are slotted and have different offsets, making sure that the stance of the RTR Mustang is correct, with the right amount of tuck under the aggressive wheel arches.
A nice TF51 radio has all the adjustability you want, combined with a very complete electronics package which features a 20T brushed motor, you can just pop a battery of choice in the chassis and you are all set.
