I fine ground again from scratch... And then the mirror was fully polished after 5 hours, but I polished 2 additional hours regardless... The flashlight test says it's fully polished, yet I always see a laser reflection! Do not trust the laser test, it is misleading... It appears I have a smooth spherical surface. My mirror has now become a 6" f/7.5... Tougher to parabolize than an f/8, but I will do it!
