Why is there a throne room in the basement anyway?
Fun trivia: If you hit him with Lightning-elemental magic as he prepares his third (and sixth, ninth, etc.) Zantetsuken, he'll be instantly defeated (as if the game is taking pity on you for how badly you must have sucked to reach that point). This also works in the 3D version, where it's perhaps a bit more understandable due to higher HP + completely different mechanics.

You need that common Dragon Fang steal for level manipulation to get Level 5 Death. (You can rarely steal them from Mini Dragons near Istory, but designing a semi-consistent farming set-up at this point, while possible, is frankly not worth it.)

Good ol Masamune initiative. Berserk it with a mix, because that 95% magic evasion ensures casting the spell isnt worth it. For extra safety, use Dark Cannon (Blitzshot + Ash; Apanda always drops the latter) for a flat 75% chance of blinding it.
