Sorry this isn't Paper Mario!!! But hey Addams Family Values ain't that bad you gotta give it a chance!
So apparently when she goes through the door during the cutscene, the door is actually functional during that brief moment. The fight trigger very luckily doesn't cover the top-most pixel of the screen, so you can use the walk through walls glitch to go up and stand on the door so that you go through it when she does. Saves maybe 1:10 or so? The fight itself figures to normally take upwards of a minute. It also saves a bit of time from not having to equip the Shockwave and from skipping a small cutscene in the room prior to the fight by picking up the Black Egg (since having full health for the boss is no longer necessary). Bonus side-effect: The boss music keeps playing until the credits start.
