A thing you can do. Useless but sorta nifty.
So you squeeze in between the lavafall and the moving platform. It only works against the lavafall because otherwise the platform just turns around. You have to be holding DOWN as you get squeezed if you want to clip out the top of the map, but of course it doesn't work if you switch to holding down too early. Sometimes when you respawn, you'll softlock right away. Presumably this is based on your position when you clipped, so I'm not really sure how you could reliably avoid it. Once you respawn, the movement is to hold right and tap down for a split second at some point while you fall. If you don't move down at least enough to get back inbounds then you will softlock. It's possible to land and stay OoB, if you wanted to do that. For some reason, if you just change partners right away, the game acts as if you jumped into lava and then locks you out of using the partner menu, which of course is a softlock as well. I jumped into the lava to avoid this (I totally didn't fall in by accident), but I'm pretty sure trying to get on Lakilester would also prevent it.
