This film includes footage of weather events interspersed with visualizations of data collected during the Convection Initiation and Downburst Experiment (CINDE). The film features: tornado formation, downburst from virga, initiation of storms along a stationary convergence line, CP-3 radar reflectivity, wind and rainfall data from a Portable Automated Mesonet (PAM) station, and footage from the University of North Dakota's Citation aircraft. Participants included: NCAR, NOAA, FAA, MIT, LL, U of N. Dakota, U of Wyoming, UCLA, and Colorado State University.
