Can you really get professional multi-color 3D prints using only free software and a standard printer? In this video, I challenge myself to turn two completely different images—a colorful vector Tiger and a B&W Portrait—into physical objects using the Free version of LumaLayer.
IN THIS VIDEO:
I break down the "Golden Rule" of filament painting (Dark to Light), show you how to use the "Magic Click" workflow to assign colors instantly, and walk you through the critical Slicer settings (0.08mm layer height) you need for success. We are using a limited palette today: just Black, White, Orange, and Blue.
The software is available in both Free and Pro versions.
The Free version is fully usable, and the Pro version helps support ongoing development of this passion project.
