Fiador Knot - How to Tie a Fiador (Hackamore) Knot for Horse Harness
I have to admit that at first I found the Fiador Knot a little complicated to tie. Having tied the Fiador or Hackamore knot a few times now, I think I got it.
The Fiador knot is often used on the head harness, the idea of this knot is that if produces three loops, two loops at the bottom and end a third loop for the horses nose to fit through. Also when tying the Fiador knot there are two additional leads for other knots incorporated in the harness.
