This one stumped for me awhile. You can freely let the icon advance and stay on the next button press but the trick is to not hit it early, fall, and fail, causing massive delays. For Pro level, you really have to simply have the game felt out to hit the button order fast, rhythmically, but not so fast that you outpace it.
Making failed inputs at this level at all will have you be behind enough to lose. Also over-committing to deadlocked button jams and botching the following input is rough, too. Certainly challenging!
