Hi butterflies!!!
Here is the animatic I was talking about in my ref sheet video. I started working on this back in the beginning of December when Teach was doing good. The fin rot he had, hadn't been active for over a month so I was certain he was going to be fine. He just needed to heal his fins from it. So the premise of this video was essentially Teach making me feel better as I fought our "problems"--the shark. He takes us all on an underwater adventure to see the different sea creatures and places.
Even in the end when Teach was very sick he'd try to make me feel better. When I sat there crying because there was nothing more I could for him he would get up and try to swim. He always seemed to understand what it meant when I was sad and he'd come swim over to me and sit in front of me. This was going to be a little homage to that with him telling me he's ok and there's nothing left to worry about. But he past away and I don't think I'll be finishing this now. It no longer has the same happy ending to me, since we didn't beat the shark like I'd thought and making this is not the same without him. I also have the amv I'm making for Teach after he past away, plus other projects I want to do so I also don't have the time to finish this anymore. I still liked the idea though and wanted to show this because it really felt like Teach to me. The drawings are quite terrible because this was just the quick scribble storyboard I made on my phone. I was planning to clean it up and make it a proper animatic. That's all, thank you for reading this and I hope it shows how much more Teach was then just a fish.
