Hi butterflies!!!
I lost one of my best friends on Monday. His name was Captain Edward Teach Smith.
So I got my laptop back from the store early. I got it the same day Teach died, so I set up my drawing program and recording program and made this.
It seemed like everything was going to be fine, Teach hadn't shown signs of fin rot in over a month. Then when I moved from my dad to my mom's house his health took a very bad turn. At first I thought it was swim bladder disease, then the day before he died his scales pineconed which means he had dropsy. I don't know what caused it. I used spring water for his tank with aquarium salt. He got a weekly water change using a gravel vacuum. He had a filter and heater and I check his water regularly. Nothing seemed wrong, so the only thing I can think of was the move too soon with him still regrowing his fins. I really thought he'd be with me for a long time.
I don't know if I'll get a new fish. I'm too scared I move too much to keep it healthy. And it would also never replace Teach, no one will. He was my best bud and I miss him a lot. I have an animation I'm gonna make dedicated to him. Dunno when that'll be done, but I can guarantee you'll see it eventually. I also have one map part to redo and one to continue working on. Thankfully I had sent some wips for them in discord, so I'll just have download and work over them.
Also I chose this song because it was one of Teach's favorites. He was a chill little dude and liked slow kinda lullaby like songs. Plus I felt it fit well.
