It's two weeks since taking remedial action to get the worm tower working properly again. The worms are now staying mostly in the top tray, and have processed most of the food that was added to their working tray.
So it's time to feed the tray again.
This feed consists mostly of frozen then thawed and squeezed bananas - the squeezing is to get rid of as much liquid as possible before adding to the bin. The bananas will also add a nice nutrient and mineral mix to the finished vermicompost.
Depending on how long it takes the worms to process this feed will determine how long it is before I feed the tray again.
As always thanks for watching.
