The worm bins and general compost bins have been completely neglected for several weeks. This Dalek style compost bin was cold and wet. I didn't have much to hand except brown cardboard boxes. I roughly tore them up, wet them down and added them to the top of the compost bin. In 24 hours the thermophilic bacteria have been resurrected and the bin is steaming again.
