I definitely wasn't expecting this to take over 2 hours, even with the long cutscenes. If only I knew where the bandits will appear, I wouldn't have taken only the detour.
Long range assault and flying reinforcements. Peirhok can basically deal with mostly anything as long as you keep effective damage away from him, but the way he hinted something made me not want to use him that much, which is also part of the reason why the gameplay is taking longer than usual.
Vicks will appear at the bottom right, and only Lilim/Eliza can recruit him. There's a promo item from a nearby enemy too, so bring Darrel along. Bandits will appear at the top left, the sub-boss has a statbooster too, so if you want it, Darrel will have to move around more.
As for Sicilis, her stats are fairly high, but it's actually quite easy. As long as she's still wielding Purge, her Spd will drop drastically and you can easily double her with an effective weapon without having to fear the retaliation.
---
Given the higher promotion gains, I noticed most of them gear toward early promotions. I'd much prefer the focus on weaker growths as promotion gains (like Hector's in FE7) to allow more freedom in endgame stats rather a typical min-maxed one.
