While remodeling our living room, we had some exposed beams and posts that needed to be covered. We decided to wrap them with 3/4” boards to give them a finished look but we really wanted a rustic look to match the rest of the room. I decided to try making faux hand-hewn, weathered beams. This wasn’t a hard project but it was time consuming. I forgot to record the actual build of the beams but I will make another video of the build as I’ll be making more beams for the remodel.
