Welp, got invited to an RP. Couldn't say no to a DnD based one. Plus a chance to play a character that I rediscovered seemed like a no brainer.
Name — Erik Thaxton
Face Claim - Itachi Uchiha (Naruto/Naruto Shippuden)
Age — 25
Race — Human
Class — Monk
Subclass — Way of Shadow
Gender — Male
Personality — Erik will defend the helpless should he see fit to do so, and those who incur his wrath are in for a rude surprise when such a calm man snaps. He prefers to keep in solitude, only speaking when spoken to or if prompted by his companions. He has a strong sense of right and wrong, and while he will object to some assignments, he will still carry out his mission. Those who actually get past his solitude and brooding will find a genuinely kind hearted man who will protect those he loves fiercely, and even see traces of sadness in his usual cold, stoic eyes.
Alignment — Neutral Good
Backstory — Erik’s mother Avril hated him from the moment he was born, acting as though he weren’t around, due to her being forced upon. This prompted him to stay close to the shadows, out of sight from her. Eventually, he was run out of his home because of his red eyes.
His journey led him to the Turenaylin temple, where upon seeing his skills as a prodigy, he was taken in by the other monks and trained in their ways, becoming the youngest apprentice to receive the title of monk by the age of seven. Erik trained diligently and followed their religion until one day, he overheard his higher ups discussing plans to invade a closeby village and kill everyone within its walls to claim it for themselves - on a blood moon, where they would be at their most powerful. Knowing innocents would be killed, Erik slunk away and warned the village of the attack, thus saving countless lives. However, this put him at odds with the monks who took him in. For the first time in his life, Erik drew blood. Turenaylin was single handedly cut down by him; no one was spared.
Knowing he could not settle with his bloodstained hands, Erik took a wandering mercenary job and accepted his fate of solitude and loneliness. With his renowned skills of speed and his red eyes being glimpsed in the shadows, he was dubbed the Red Eyed Phantom.

So, one of my online friends was super sweet and bought me a copy of Fire Emblem: 3 Houses to play as we cope in this crazy world of opening/reopening. Needless to say, I LOVED it. But the thing I loved the most was the romance between Byleth (your avatar character) and the lord of the Blue Lions, Prince Dimitri. Its one of those stories that Im jealous of because I want to write a story/character arc like that. Two people that make one another better while supporting and leaning on each other.
A lot of people often bring up Beauty and the Beast when they talk about Dimileth, particularly in part 2 where he acts like, well, a beast due to having no healthy way to cope with his trauma/framing/attempted murder.
The idea of this was a sort of reflection of sorts Dimitri has before Byleth returns to the monastery in the Azure Moon route, hallucinating her as both a tormentor and the supporter he had fallen in love with, all while struggling with his own vengeance streak.
