RP BASICS:
The setting is the fictional town of Aulnoy, founded by the French Countess d'Aulnoy, the original writer of "fairy tales" who sent fairies in influences other writers such as the Brothers Grimm, Hans Christian Andersen, etc. Yet Carabosse, a famous dark fairy, has rallied several followers to turn "happily ever after" on its head, uprooting lives by forcing people to relive curses inspired by d'Aulnoy's stories. To counteract the darker forces, the countess and the fairies created Aulnoy, a fantastic city that adapts with time.
Now in the present, the countess' descendant, Claire Aulnoy, has decided to counteract the curses by having everyone make their own variation on the story. She hosts Fairytales Anonymous to support everyone in Aulnoy, all while helping counteract Caraboss and her goons.
(Influences: Once Upon a Time, RWBY, Grimm, the otome game Cinderella Phenomenon)
AUDITION TEMPLATE:
I suggest you pitch your fairy tale before your character, that way we can work out a curse together. I will not allow mythological/religious figures, so sorry, no King Midas curses or things like that.
Along with a 300 min word fanfiction that can be sent via Google Docs or PM, (or vid if you prefer), you must provide these details below.

So, one of my online friends was super sweet and bought me a copy of Fire Emblem: 3 Houses to play as we cope in this crazy world of opening/reopening. Needless to say, I LOVED it. But the thing I loved the most was the romance between Byleth (your avatar character) and the lord of the Blue Lions, Prince Dimitri. Its one of those stories that Im jealous of because I want to write a story/character arc like that. Two people that make one another better while supporting and leaning on each other.
A lot of people often bring up Beauty and the Beast when they talk about Dimileth, particularly in part 2 where he acts like, well, a beast due to having no healthy way to cope with his trauma/framing/attempted murder.
The idea of this was a sort of reflection of sorts Dimitri has before Byleth returns to the monastery in the Azure Moon route, hallucinating her as both a tormentor and the supporter he had fallen in love with, all while struggling with his own vengeance streak.
